Som junior var Camille Serme med helt fremme i verdenseliten, og hun har som senior formået af videreudvikle sig og har nu spillet sig ind blandt de bedste damer i verden. Udover at rejse rundt, har Camille de seneste par år optrådt for Koldings elitehold og i denne sæson er hun ubesejret.

Which clubs are you representing, and when and where did you start your career?

I'm representing the club of Creteil, it's in the neighbourhood of Paris. And I always played there, it's where I started my career. I have for the past four seasons played the Danish leaugue. I started in Sport92 and changed to Kolding a few years back.

What's your ranking in your home country and WISPA?

I'm number 1 in France and 12 in the world.

What's your highest everWISPA-ranking?

It's my current ranking, 12 :)

What are your goals for this season, and for your career in general?

This season, I would like to become top 10 and later, I would like to become number 1 and world champion :)

What's your greatest achievement so fare in your career?

Hmm... It's difficult to say... I think it was when I beat the number 7 in the world, Omneya Abdel Kawy, in the final of Alexandria open in 2009! It was a great moment!

What are your biggest strenghs and weaknesses as a squash player?

I kepp my weaknesses secret, I can't tell it to my opponents :) The only thing i can say, is that I'm working on it :) And I guess that's my biggest strenght, I always want to train to become better and better...

Who are your sponsors? What racquet do you play withand why?

My sponsors are Adidas, Technifibre and Prince. I play with the O3, I like it cause it has a good balance.

Who is your biggest squash role model?

Of course I admire Nicol David cause it's very impressive how long she's been number 1! But I don't really have a model... I just try to learn something from differents players and then I try to mix it up when I play.

What's your most embarrassing squash experience?

When I lost 11/0 in the third game against Nicol at the world open, it was quite embarrassing...

When your not training and playing tournaments, how do you like to spend your time? (maybe a hobby etc.)

I really like shopping of course, like a lot of girls :) I love going to cinema, or listening music. And I love spending time with my family and my boyfriend.

Which movie is your favourite and why?

I love "The Notebook" and "ps: I love you", great movies! :)

What's your favourite dish?

I don't have any, I like a lot of different food :)

What's has the greatest experience in your life been so fare? (not squash related)

Meeting my current boyfriend, Kristian.

If you had to go to a deserted island and could only bring 3 things, what would these be?

My family, my boyfriend and all the people I love and care about cause I could not live alone, I need them.

Why did you choose to play squash?

Cause I think it's fun, I have fun when I play :)
